February 8, 2007DIECAST kicks off a monstrous 10-week U.S. tour tonight as direct support to SEVENDUST in what will be the longest tour of DIECAST's career. Fans can expect a blistering 45-minute set with a diverse setlist featuring a slew of new material that has yet to be performed live. This is the group's second U.S. trek in support of their new album, "Internal Revolution", which is being hailed as their most dynamic and stunning offering yet from critics and fans alike. Their new single, "Nothing I Could Say", will be serviced to Active Rock later this month, and the radio mix and edit was done by Brian Malouf (MICHAEL JACKSON, MADONNA, PEARL JAM). A stunning new video for the track was just complete by acclaimed director Ian McFarland (SICK OF IT ALL).
Commented vocalist Paul Stoddard: "I'm very excited to be sharing the stage with SEVENDUST, a band that I've been an enormous fan of for a long time. If you've ever seen them live, you know exactly what I mean. If you ever wanted to see them or us now is the time. We are playing some amazing-sounding clubs and tickets are selling fast. Some are already sold out! No one is going to leave this tour disappointed, so come on out and party with us. We also just finished filming a new video for 'Nothing I Could Say'. It's a concept video that takes place in the early 1930s with a good story, hi-def quality and some great actors. It's definitely going to be different than anything else in our style, which is something that we always strive for. Look for it online and on MTV2 next month."
A riveting conceptual video for the first single from "Internal Revolution", "Fade Away", shot by acclaimed director David Brodsky (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, GWAR, THE RED CHORD),can be viewed at this location.
